What kind of music do you make? I would say I make different types of sub genre hip hop, each song is never the same so it is hard to categorize myself to one thing.
More about the music I make – When I make my music I am aiming to top whatever I did the last time, whether it takes two months I want people to realize how slowly I am taking my craft and evolving more and more after each single is released. I want to show people that hip hop can be simple but also go crazy at the same time, just to be making whatever I want is a blessing and I want the people to feel the same energy I do when creating these tracks.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I am 19 years old, I started trying to write around 15/16 and it was very basic, I never expected myself to drop anything I was making as I was too shy/ didn’t feel I had what it took and just never saw myself being here. The reason I am here today is because of my love for music, writing each day got me motivated to find a nice studio to have the quality I do today, it got me to learn from my mistakes and not give up either, the first 5 studio sessions I did with my engineer Ryan I didn’t release one track because I knew they weren’t good enough. Instead of quitting I realized I just had an artists ear, and I kept going and going and evolving and now I feel more confident than I ever have.

What are my goals when it comes to my music career? My personal goal for my music career is to have a supportive fan base, to have a huge group of supporters that will listen to my music everytime I drop and will support on anything I do however way I want to take it is all I could ask for. The rest will come after I believe the main goal is to find your people who love and respect you, then the rest is in your hands for whatever move you want to make.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? I just want them to know my music is for y’all to just be at ease and simply to enjoy it. I make music to simply escape reality and to bring happiness to my life and to your guys life.

What is your artist name? ReyMenn

What kind of music do you make? I try to make music for everyone. I’ve been in Rock bands, Jazz groups, Salsa bands, Marching bands, Rap cyphers, Mariachi festivals and music performances all over South Texas. I feel that’s helped me explore my ever evolving style. I don’t just rap, sing, or scream, I try to write music that will take you away from Earth even if for just a moment. My music process is always changing. Sometimes i’ll have a melody or cadence in my head that will repeat over and over until I put words to it, other times i’ll hear chord progressions or even random instrument licks that cycle for hours. One thing that is common every time I make music is happiness. I’m always happy making music and if you take anything away from my music, it’s that you can make music that makes you happy. Too many people care about opinions that will never really matter. Create relentlessly.

How old are you and when did you start creating music?  I am 26 and my grandfather played guitar so I was always around music. I started playing Trumpet when I was 12 and by the time I was in High School I was recording music on bad equipment to show all my friends. I don’t know what the first song I wrote was, I just ended up making music every day. 

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? My main goal is to portray happiness. In today’s life there are so many distractions that ultimately take us away from what we want to do and we’re stuck in this cycle of being unhappy. Make the music that makes you happy. Write what you know and the people will forever feel you.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? It’s not easy being passionate. It’s not easy putting in hours of work for a 3 minute project that 2 people will hear. But please reader, if you are a creative; Create as if it were your last creation. If you feel you are not create then live. Live passionately. I hope my music could help you realize you are much more than what you might think.

What kind of music do you make? Responsible Hip Hop very message driven but still full of comprehensive lyrics relative to the times. Real artistry thought provoking messages that will catch the listeners ear. An audio book to music 

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I am 39 and I was 17 when I started creating music.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? Remain independent and continue to market and brand myself until the right opportunity presents itself.

What is your artist name? Kenny88

What kind of music do you make? Any type tbh. Mostly singing and melodic stuff. My voice just isn’t right for straight street rapping. My main music influences definitely are XXXTENTACION,Frank Ocean, Juice Wrld , The weeknd, and Playboi Carti. I want people to listen and catch a certain vibe. I want people to relate to what I’m singing about. I can’t write a song. I usually listen to the beat and go off the top of my head. It’s a really weird thing to do but I like it that way. It makes me unique. People tell me my voice is super good. Especially when I use reverb the right way. And that really makes me feel good because I’ve never had any recognition.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I’m currently 15 and I was writing music at 7. And I made my first song at 8. And if you look deep enough you’ll find it because it’s still on soundcloud Haha.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? Just get big and have the people that was with me since the beginning right. Influence people. Expand myself too a icon. Design Clothes and act in movies. And eventually start my own label

What is your artist name? Geny Luv

What kind of music do you make? Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Experimental,Rap,
Vaporwave, Alternative Rock, Shoegaze ,Ocean Grunge. I usually use samples and I make a beat that takes me like an hour I write and rap or sing usually takes me a while because I enjoy putting it off. My inspirations are Childish Gambino, Kid Cudi, Gorillaz, Delta Heavy, Sea Of Dogs, Nmesh, and Mj

What kind of music do you make? Rap music only. People in my family have been making music since I was a kid and I was just inspired at a young age by people being their own business and expressing their lifestyle thru music. As far as inspiration goes I’m really influenced by the south in general. A lot of my family is in GA or AL so I’ve been coming down here for as long as I can remember and I moved to Georgia after graduating HS in WI. I’m influenced by Atlanta in general just because it’s really hard to not be. When I make music I’m just trying to put out something people can ride around or smoke to and just catch a vibe real quick but I get deep sometimes. 

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I’m 22 right now, started writing around 12, first recorded at 17

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? To be the most original artist you ever heard. For you to listen to my music and not be able to say I sound like anybody you ever heard. To live off my music lavishly and create a lifestyle no one ever seen and take care of my folks doing it.

What kind of music do you make? Hip-Hop/Rap. I’m inspired by a wide range of artists in different genres, from Rapsody to Bon Iver. I grew up in south east London, so I was and still am influenced by Grime music and tend to fuse that and hip-hop together in my own creations, whether that’s through the flows, beat choices or lyrics. My main influences would have to be Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas and Wale. I love their lyricism, flows but mainly Kanye due to his creativeness; he has broken boundaries in Hip-Hop that have paved the way for artists today.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I am 21 years old and started making music in 2011, so about 10 years now.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? To be recognised on a global scale for my creativity and with enough influence to inspire and uplift those people through my music. To also work alongside a lot of the artists I have looked up to through the years – that would be a dream come true.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? That there is a wide range in terms of moods and energies within my catalogue of music. That it embodies who I am as a person, with the aim of being understood in a way that relates to my audience. What is your artist name? bWy

What kind of music do you make? I’m a Hip Hop producer and artist. I make most of my own beats and rap / sing on them, usually with autotune. My beats are ambient and EDM inspired, with hard hitting 808s and dope melodies. I’m inspired by a wide variety of music from different genres, but mainly Hip Hop. I listen to the new generation as well as old school Hip Hop and draw inspiration from both. With my lyrics I always aim to inspire and make my listeners think, this is definitely something I’m still improving on but you’ll see more and more of that with my upcoming releases. I definitely want to have an impact with my music that is deeper than having a great time

What is your artist name? My artist name is Young Phet.  I am from the North Chicago Suburbs area.

What kind of music do you make? I make new wave rap music but sometimes make hip hop too. I grew up listening to cats like Nas, Big L, Joey Badass, Dizzy Wright, and more.  But as I got older, I started listening to Herb, Bibby, 2 Chainz, Migos, and more.The 2016 XXL lineup inspired me to take my craft seriously because I saw how young they were and how quickly their fan bases grew. I’ve been playing piano studying music theory since 2007.  So when I produce, I like to get in my zone by listening to a variety of artists depending on what I wanna make. I could be listening to 40s jazz to Pete Rock & CL Smooth to Zaytoven. I don’t always produce though. Sometimes, my twin will for me, Chillfiger. Other times I’ll work with homies who produce.  Shout out Thrillhouse, Lock16, Pluto, Torrontaye. Sometimes I’ll find free use-for-non-profit beats on Youtube.  I really wanna work with Luke Almighty though. What I want people to take away from my lyrics is relatability. I want people to feel good or turn up to my music. I want people to be like hell yeah same, I feel you.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? I am a senior in college.  I will be graduating soon with 3 majors, all business related.  I plan to enter the music industry on the business side and really market myself the best way possible so I can collab with big names, perform shows, and monetize my music.  Eventually I would like to start a label of my own.  I study cats like Cole Bennett, Dame Dash, Sean Carter, Sean Combs, Russel Simmons, Rick Rubin, and more.
