THIS IS WORK – NOT PERSONAL

While many of us go to concerts and events to enjoy the show – there is a handful of people who go to shows to BULLY THEIR WAY in <~ or to gain access to places they do not belong – like back stage or staff only areas.

OFTEN TIMES – someone will grab you up to “talk” and for me – that is scary because I can’t hear shit as is – so when I’m in a loud environment and someone grabs me to “talk” at a show – I don’t hear anything and when I walk away they probably think I’m ignoring them.

THIS CAUSES A LOT OF ISSUES BECAUSE – I’m not ignoring you – I just can’t here you and I’m not there just to be there – I have a job and that comes with a lot of responsibilities.

SEE – we interact on social media – so if people want to talk – there is room / opportunity to talk – the problem is – most people want to ask you to do something for them – or – ask you to give them something like – room on a show – that they had nothing to do with when it came to do promotion etc.

THE REASON WE DO SHOWCASES – is because – we know – once a artist performs – a % of people will want to talk to them and – in many cases – help the artist because TALENT inspires people – in ways we cannot explain.

YOU NEVER HELD A JOB – but that kid has talent – and YOU CAN MANAGE THEM – you bully yourself into the mix and tell the kid what YOU CAN DO for them – meanwhile – YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR YOURSELF.

You can’t pay your bills – your in and out of jail and – on top of that – your dealing with the same obstacles that kid you can “help” has – so how can you help them – when you are the older version of what they are going to become if they continue to get stopped by people who claim they can “help” them.

WHEN IT COMES TO OPPORTUNITIES – if someone else – who worked to create a opportunity for themselves and others – doesn’t have time to talk – you might want to check your resume and lack of understanding when it comes to BUSINESS.

Let’s do it like this – you work hard to put 12 eggs in a carton and magically – someone plops 4 eggs on top of those 12 and ask you to close the lid <~ you can’t do it without breaking eggs – the same ones you worked so hard to find and put in the carton.

That’s what it’s like – when artist try to “talk” business – vs. work <~ to get one of those spots <~ so they fit into the plan.

WHEN I BROKER A DEAL – many artist who never – had experience in business let alone this fake – industry stuff we see in Connecticut – don’t understand – their involvement – and their shallow reasons for being involved – make it impossible to take the work we do – and make it turn into profit.

PEOPLE STEP ON TOES – just by talking on facebook – all the personal information that we share daily becomes who we are as business entities and that gives people MORE motivation to reach out to – “TALK”

LET ME HELP YOU – magically turns into a partnership – when partners – split the cost to do business and – bring business to one another – business that involves the transfer of goods and services in exchange for – MONEY.

See where I’m going with this ? While a lot of us – like to believe – we can “Help” when we see someone doing something they worked on for years <~ to make look as good as it does – make it look so good that you think – you can step in – and make it work so much better or – you can benefit by being a part of it when the reality is – your presence in the situation – makes everyone – uncomfortable.

IT’S LIKE THAT CREEPY DUDE AT THE PLAYGROUND who has no kids but wants to talk to all the single mothers – while asking which kid is theirs, it’s just – uncomfortable. You want to be polite but – being polite opens the door for people to go around saying they “know you” or “work with you” which can impact the work you do in a negative way <~ since – I work with two people – and those people live with me.

YES – I have affiliations with other entities but in many cases all we are doing is cross promotion – sharing resources etc. FOR THE SAKE OF FACEBOOK AND TWITTER – it’s all for marketing purposes / outreach to the people struggling in the local market.

WE DO BUSINESS when money is involved and for me – I recognize many people don’t have money to sponsor their own work – so I promote FREE SERVICES to get them involved in healthy / networking situations – while – helping to provide a professional profile for them.

I also work with local talent to get them involved with my internet radio station – by working with me – and putting their music on the station – I can educate them in real time the value of networking with others in our communities to help each other gain the audience we need – to gain value – with the work we produce.

EVERYONE IS CHASING FAME when we should be establishing a solid foundation to conduct business once we get that fame. You can make these plans with a pen / pad and healthy conversations – the same way a lot of us – figure it out – when we are sitting in a cell – staring at the walls for how many hours… we finally get into reading/writing/working out etc. – then – we come home – and slowly but surely – those things fade away and we stuck.

BULLYING OUR WAY into shows – up to promoters – or – other places we just don’t belong.

SO NEXT TIME YOU THINK ABOUT RUSHING A SHOW – think – AM I HURTING THE CULTURE?

Is the person I am trying to get close to – seeing me – or are they seeing the people I look like – and – if I’m hurting people who look like me get ahead – by BULLYING my way into situations I don’t belong – how am I going to call anyone else a VULTURE?

Humanity has a lot of pieces that a lot of us don’t fully understand – we know right from wrong in many cases – but we forget to look at how some of our actions contribute to WRONGS that run deep throughout society.

NEXT TIME you plan on going to a concert – ignore trying to get close to the people “in charge” because you need to understand: THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOB.

Take pictures while you are at the event – connect with other people at the event and exchange IG’s while you explain who you are and what you do – also – get clips – record drops – explain what you are doing <~ if you bought a ticket – say it <~ or create content for PROMOTIONAL USE <~ but don’t – bother the people who are working – WHILE THEY ARE WORKING – because it will not help your reputation at all.

Like a lot of these articles, people will say – HOW? While we do not want to take away the accountability we ALL MUST accept when we do things – the fact that these social media platforms – make money – when these things happen – and – go viral on their platforms – IS SICK.

WHEN PEOPLE are killing and dying – for views – something is wrong with our culture and the fact that we can make a ton of money – pushing the narrative that this is “freedom” in one way another – is basically – a weak defense.

IF IT BLEEDS – it reads – we understand that the newspaper world and media world use this tactic to get people to watch the news – ignoring most of the good in the world – and broadcasting everything wrong – which makes it seem like the world is a very scary place when most of us – do not experience a lot of the things we see happening on the news.

Social Media has taken – short – home videos – to the next level when you can put your home videos on a platform that anyone in the world – can access. The motivation – to put yourself in harms way OR do something destructive – increases by a lot – especially for YOUNG PEOPLE who may not have the support they need to stop from making stupid decisions.

“IN MY DAY KIDS WEREN’T AS BAD” No big fella – in your day – we didn’t have billion dollar companies profiting off the stupid things we did as kids. We have have horror stories of kids we knew – dying – or getting hurt – in many ways. Car accidents – violent situations – or – something else – but because it isn’t stuck on a platform for all to see throughout eternity – we aren’t as quick to admit the damage those situations created.

IF YOU THINK – it’s just a local issue – or – something that impacts one group or another – the reality is – everyone – wants fame in one way or another. OUR OBESSION with this tough guy / bad dude – image is crazy.

WHILE TV and MOVIES allow us to access these personalities and lifestyles from a safe distance, smart phones and free apps – make it easy for a wanna be billy bad ass – to go viral as a mass murderer or something else – maybe they can dress in a way that is current with the trends – that doesn’t change the fact that murder is murder and companies that profit from these things – should be tasked to help – find a solution to the problems our society face when it comes to violence – and our obsession with guns.

I BELIEVE IN RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP

I also acknowledge we as a society have a unhealthy obsession with guns and the use of those guns as long as it’s in the name of “self defense”. OUR public declarations of what we would do if someone – trespassed or – came too close during a verbal altercation – should be enough proof that we as a society – don’t mind bringing that kind of energy to ourselves.

Twitter – a platform that allows people the rare opportunity to tap into problems between people who live in poverty or urban settings or both – gang culture has always existed in the shadows of every community as long as civilization as we know it – started.

People group up and pal around – sometimes – they group up to do things that may not be too good – and in some cases they evolve to do good after the fact but what about the drama we see play out in real life.

SOMEONE YOU DON’T LIKE DIE – put it on the tweet… watch it go viral and rack up.

WE NEED TO HOLD OURSELVES ACCOUNTABLE and take the power back – so we can profit off of making changes in our community.

WHILE BEEF and problems with people we run into is not something that we can really change because people – clash – we need to change the things that contribute to the desire to put on a show.

Maybe someone gets attention by talking junk to people they know are dangerous. Maybe someone gets attention cruising around cursing people out and making fun of them. Maybe someone gets attention walking around asking strangers stupid questions or pranking them – who knows – the bottom line is do we need to allow violence – or the exploitation of the violence in our society to be something we profit off of?

Can a company like Facebook/Instagram – take accountability without being required to do so by law – and change their policies in regard to violence vs. controlling how we speak to one another on socials?

The desire to silence others or – keep real conversations away from he public view is a lot greater than – changing our behavior so our kids don’t die with a audience. We want to make sure our childs death – isn’t the topic of discussion for some blog or popular media personality who consumes the culture while talking down on the way our people – act – in desperate attempts to get that fame – that could change their social position.

BECAUSE FAME = MONEY in AMERICA <~ and law enforcement – is NOT adapting to fight this problem in a CONSTRUCTIVE WAY. With social media platforms – there is NO EXCUSE as to why we cannot support community out reach programs headed by law enforcement agencies VS – creating another group of cops who use the social media content to solve crimes after they happen.

CRIME PREVENTION can be something POLICE ACTUALLY DO – using social media – vs. INVESTIGATING CRIMES AFTER THEY HAPPEN. Police departments can prevent crimes – using social media – because they put the pieces together while building their cases.

USING the information they collected from past investigations – they can implement a system to engage with HIGH RISK individuals and groups on a personal level – while monitoring potential dangers that can impact an entire community.

THE MONEY used to hire social media experts who are in tune with culture and other aspects of our society – police can create a VIRTUAL BEAT and OUTREACH PROGRAM to educate the public and make a positive presence online which should translate to real world activities.

FORGET A GUN BUY BACK PROGRAM <~ Police Departments should reach out to local hip hop moguls and SPONSOR hip hop shows to help the kids risking their lives for a dream – get that support backed by the same agencies we use to hire security for major events.

FLIP THE SCRIPT – we should see if these social media companies – can contribute to the cost while they continue to profit off the rising crime rate across the country. WHILE we like to believe this is a one sided argument – in many cases – we all share blame.

SO WHILE IT’S easy to point at these social media platforms – WE MUST – make a COLLECTIVE EFFOR TO MAKE A CHANGE.

I have experienced losing a lot of kids to the streets – and prison – all the while – fighting to keep them from experiencing all of that using HIP HOP / RAP. People focus on my harsh language when trying to motivate these kids but I’m not concerned because I have seen too many kids I mentored – turn to street life – as a way to GET OUT – only to find themselves TRAPPED in a EARLY GRAVE or LONG PRISON SENTENCE.

THIS IS ALL BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE

Gangster RAP and STREET STUFF – has never been too far away from the entertainment business as ROCK STARS of the 80s can tell you based on the amount of drugs they consumed – in many cases – contributed to their over all image.

Rockstars would bang Heroin, sniff coke and even – smoke crack – as it became more popular – and – like many things in AMERICA – the best place to buy things that can kill you – is in – poor or – urban communities.

WHEN I WAS GROWING UP – we would slide to the hood and they would be labeled “Black Neighborhoods” – vs. “Urban Communities” – so think about the implications – when you go to a neighborhood – owned by landlords who live in affluent communities – but – the people who live – in the conditions that the landlords create – get labeled – based on those conditions vs. being honest – about what the slums really are to most – property owners. A SOURCE OF REVENUE.

THIS IS WHERE WE LOSE A LOT OF AMERICAN POWER PLAYERS – while WE ALL enjoy and benefit from how making money – creating businesses and other things around our system – that we love to mention as part of our identity as Americans WE MUST ASK THE DIFFICULT QUESTION:

IS IT WORTH IT?

A lot of people don’t care about what happens to people – if they are making money.

“Hey Tobacco is legal and we put a warning on the label – so if they choose to smoke – that is their personal decision.” – that is completely fair… but what about the company? YOU CHOOSE TO SELL – the product that is contributing to our failing health system <~

INDIVIDUALS DO THIS TOO BY INVESTING IN COMPANIES THAT KILL OUR PLANET OR HURT PEOPLE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER – SO – COMPANIES CAN’T TAKE ALL THE BLAME WITHOUT BRINGING IT TO THE INDIVIDUALS WHO INVEST IN THESE COMPANIES.

Chronic diseases are on the rise and most of these companies that cause these issues, are NOT held accountable the same way a person is expected to be held accountable for making poor decisions.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE POWER OF MARKETING – and how – people are literally – tricked into buying products based on how ads are placed and created to get the attention of a specific group of people – because that would be too much for a lot of these so called “Business” majors to admit.

GOOD BUSINESS – KILLS PEOPLE

UNFORTUNATELY – a lot of people who do not look like the people <~ I see on Arch St. <~ Alabany Ave – or ANY HOOD USA <~ dictated what is considered “popular” vs. promoting REAL value and supporting the SAME PEOPLE – they admire <~ but – imitate and put down <~ in the same hand.

So while we promote – SHOW ME SOME LOVE – we actually – are not interested in showing love – we are more interested in GETTING LOVE – for – SHOWING LOVE – and if we do not get that love in return – many – problems – can arise.

People glorify the HOOD because most people understand – that poverty is real – so you don’t need much to be part of the hood. Its actually the opposite – the less you have – the more likely you will find yourself among – poor people – stuck in certain neighborhoods – based on the fact that POOR PEOPLE do not have the same resources and support as other classes.

OTHER CLASSES who look cleaner – have more things and like many of us – want to live a lovely life – minus – the stuff that comes around associating with – POOR PEOPLE.

Does that make them bad? OF COURSE NOT – but – it does make them human. HUMANS make mistakes and one of our biggest ISSUES – is we don’t see past the things that make us different – to focus on the things we can all relate too.

POOR PEOPLE don’t want to associate with ANYONE who isn’t going to contribute to their well being – either personally – or otherwise – again – doesn’t make them bad – it makes them HUMAN.

LOVE SHOULDN’T BE USED AS CURRENCY

It cost $0.00 to show people you care and if you can’t make a million dollar profit – showing love – maybe – you should be honest and admit you aren’t interested in love – you aren’t interested in people – you want profit and nothing else.

IF THAT BOTHERS YOU – show love. Just – show love – don’t be stupid about it – but – you can show love – without <~ going out of your way – sometimes – showing LOVE is promoting information on a BLOG – or contributing to the local rap scene by promoting your message in the face of all the negative attention – from people who are trying to scramble their way to the top –

or

by being attacked by the bigger demographics who throw their disposable income around like they are not flaunting their status among those who do not have the same resources while calling it “good business” – BECAUES THE ATTACK – EXPOSES THE REALITY OF HOW OUR SOCIETY LIKES TO PUNCH DOWN.

So while kids who have nothing – climb the ranks of Connecticut rap – we have kids crom affluent communities – using their resources – to dominate the “Underground” leaving a whole community behind – a community – they benefit from – by imitating our culture.

SHOW ME SOME LOVE

CT HIP HOP NEED JESUS PEOPLE

Working with less than $500 – I was able to contribute to helping build a solid movement out of NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut. Without drug money or money from anyone who invested in my moves, I was able to sponsor studio sessions from rappers from all over New Britain as we formed the scene.

OUR SIDE OF TOWN – worked with other sides of town and we were able to impact the community in a positive way, but – like many stories – that wouldn’t last long.

I know a lot of you guys think that this isn’t cool or worth the effort but I’m hip hop / rap and this wasn’t about being cool.

New Britain was starting to create it’s own version of “industry” which used the same tactics as any business revolving around “Making friends” and “Building” vs. actually – working on – something.

IF YOU NEED TO BLOCK PEOPLE FROM DOING THINGS – you can’t be doing enough. OFF TO MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT where I was able to connect with the locals out there… jumped right in and got busy.

Participating in cyphers… paying for studio sessions and bringing rappers from different areas together, this is when a lot of kids from the suburban areas started rapping and I got a chance to teach them about HOW THEY hurt <~ and could help – the culture by understanding the stuff that isn’t worth paying attention to vs. the things they should pay attention to.

I worked all over CONNECTICUT before I stopped going out <~ because I wasn’t trying to support the local bar / club scene by performing at events where it’s more of a local d*** measuring contest and I never really got that being from New York.

My first performance I got a shot to meet the legendary G MONEY out of CT <~ a radio personality that I was familiar with and def admired as a fan – because local celebrities that looked like guys I knew for real – didn’t really exist in CT back then.

HE was SO KIND TO ME <~ I will never forget that he looked at me like someone who was being sincere about what he said and when he popped out at places I was – just to say hello, I knew that this man was special.

As time marched on, I noticed – nobody – was able to break the cycle and get off the local stages to national opportunities. I worked very hard to change that by working WITH local artist from all over NEW ENGLAND. Bringing them to Connecticut to perform.

While everyone was kissing butt and paying crazy fees, I was rapping to the top – using the money I earned from my work – to invest in local artist, so while they were busy holding me down – hating on me – I was raising my family and navigating this weak scene.

I have a lot of personal stories and GREAT memories with a lot of young artist I believe in – unfortunately – life is the way it is and my only interest connecting with people was to make dope hip hop / rap music – while building this movement for poor kids to make it in hip hop / rap without spending a million dollar budget.

While record labels recruit middle men and rappers who know rappers – I was busy working around all of them – making more money in music – while supporting local artist with little or no buzz since – we all like to do the THEM VS. US thing all the time.

The big dogs were fighting against me using the local scene so movements out of Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, Waterbury and Hartford – went out their way to go against me – like MY FANS go to their shows – etc. WE WEREN’T AIMING FOR THE SAME GOALS SO IT DIDN’T REALLY MAKE SENSE TO GO AGAINST ME <~ OR STEP ON MY TOES.

Their fans come to my shows too but – I’m just saying, I never really tried to get their fans – sooo it’s a odd thing. They all look so cool and I’m just a poor fat guy working hard to – get my shit off the ground.

Social media changed the way we view the world and in a lot of cases – how we see ourselves as a community.

While drug dealers are celebrated – rappers who try to make it using real work and talent – don’t get the same respect and people feel more encouraged to attack a man who got a voice vs. the demons who destroy our community from within.

I’m strong enough to accept the reality of this life but I’m not so weak to run from a fight. If it comes to me – I must address it and whatever come with that – is meant to be by God. SIMPLE.

Even when I supported other rappers – supported other movements – supported another city, town and state… the amount of negative attention and lack of public support – bogs me down. It makes me feel very bad as a person and it makes me understand why – no one wants to help the hood.

They say “Show Love” so they can attack you with hate. Loving a city that don’t love you back ain’t my thing so I started pushing artist from all over the state – New London to BPort – and beyond – state by state – city by city – hood by hood – even if you don’t know me – you know me.

ASKING FOR ORGANIZATION is seen as a bad thing – asking for structure – seems like a bad thing – allowing the people to control things when they don’t pay or plan anything is amusing. THAT IS MOSTLY FOR THE BIG DAWGS WHO USE THEIR LOCAL CELEBRITY TO RAPE LOCALS OF THEIR RESOURCES.

People should be happy to be involved – as I am happy to be around and helping on a rap level – the fake bosses can’t exist around me. #PEACE

WHILE INDUSTRY ARTIST ARE MAKING A EFFORT TO MAKE A RUN IN CONNECTICUT – THE LOCAL PROMOTERS AND CLUB OWNERS ARE SHOWING THAT THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO HOLD THE POSITIONS THEY GIVE TO THEMSELVES

WHILE WE WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE ARE EXPERIENCED – OVER A DECADE OF SHOOTINGS AT HIP HOP EVENTS AND MULTIPLE FIGHTS – IT IS CLEAR – THESE COMPANIES AND MAJOR PROMOTERS WANT TO PROFIT – EVEN IF THEY ARE PUTTING YOUR CHILDREN AT RISK

Headed by CAPO GRANT Eat While Counting Sheep Entertainment is a management group that has been working with local and industry artist for the last few years.

His personal experience working as owner operator of a successful DETROIT BASED painting company – gave him the insight and ability to manage the careers of up and coming artist.

His influence does not stop at local, he has many relationships with entertainment professionals in the music industry including a solid relationship with EMPIRE RECORDS.

As a hard working individual who has taken a particular interest in building a legit label based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut Capo Grant understands that he has a lot of work to do.

“I’m going to be looking for talent – interested in – real industry artist development designed to help them establish a real career in music” said Capo as we sat in on a session at BMR Studios in Bridgeport.

Most people in his position do not take the time to show up for a recording session with his artist but he is very hands on and dedicated to working with his artist on a artistic level as well as providing professional management services.

Mr. Grant as he is known by his closest investors and mentors plans on introducing himself to the local scene by offering low level showcase and other performance opportunities to find talent he can fly to Los Angeles, Detroit or Florida for – industry opportunities.

Working with someone like Dutch Schultz of Strictly Bidness Management – there is a compliment between the two parties. He has a vast network of professional entertainment specialist that range from artist to photographers that I am going through so I can bring them to Los Angeles and introduce them to some people.

While Dutch prides himself on being a local mega star – CAPO has been playing the background for a little while, getting a sense of where he can help the local scene take off. While his desire is to get more recognition for what he is doing as a professional, his local movements will be solely to help the artist he currently manages – get their foundation as rappers, singers and entertainers.

DON’T WANNA KNOW ME ?

While building my business – I have been working on a lot of things – from my family – to my personal approach when it comes to dealing with RAPPERS who do not understand basic things – which lead to my frustrations.

I think – anyone – who is turned off by my strong opinions and way of doing things – should avoid – me – and keep their distance so that stuff doesn’t distract them from LIVING THEIR LIVES – and BEING THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES.

IS THAT WHAT I WANT – NO WAY – I want to work with as many talented people – as possible. I do not want to crush souls along the way and I do not want to be involved in things that I don’t have to be involved in – I’m not here to make friends or slow down to meet you where you are in life.

KEYWORD: WORK

So – let this clip give you a brief – but honest – approach to HOW I DO THINGS – and YOU WILL UNDERSTAND MORE about why I am not interested in MAKING A EFFORT TO BE THE WAY a lot of YOU want me to be – personally.

FACTS HAVE NO FEELINGS

This GOES FOR ANYONE <~ who second guesses ME when I am involved in anything – from conduct around family members as well as common sense things regarding safety and health concerns <~~~~~ this is all FACT. AVOID ME – if you can’t understand this.

I want to start off by explaining one thing – and one thing only – I LOVE this guys music – his energy on his tracks and his social media persona – because he is well spoken – articulate – he speaks with passion and – I believe he has the ability to be the best rapper in the game out of NEW JERSEY <~ when it comes to the kind of work he produces.

TO LIST ALL HIS BULLSHIT – I think – would be a slap in the face – so I’m not going to speak specifics – but – what I will say – IS – DON’T GOOGLE HIM.

Do not waste your energy investing in learning about the stuff that he was involved in because some people – may feed into that <~ and I think – that is something that is VERY BAD for Albees PROGRESS in the MUSIC INDUSTRY.

If anyone knows me – they know – DUTCH SCHULTZ – is not one to pussy foot around and I consider myself someone who can deal with REAL GUYS – all the time… but AlBee seems to be a different caliber. I get the feeling that if you around him – you better be ready to die – or kill – simple as that.

I DO NOT SAY THAT LIGHTLY AND HIS TALENT MAKES IT PAINFUL to follow his career and social media stuff based on the fact he a likeable guy. Blogs and VLOGS refuse to make a effort to help redirect his focus – so he continues to dig deeper and deeper into this world that seems to have a firm grasp on his soul.

I DO NOT HOLD THAT AGAINST HIM AS A MAN

SOMETHING about him in that flex freestyle seemed familiar and after I dug around – I realized, he has been around for some time. THE DEFINITION of a guy who been getting it how he got it and there is no way we can speak about situations without some form of awe – if you understand what it’s like to navigate the trenches some of the shit just – wild… like… really wild. CALL IT IMMATURITY CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT but it’s all BAD if we let that infect Albee’s mental since we want to SEE HIM STAY ON COURSE WITH MUSIC.

AS A FAN – you may look at the stuff he did as something that is worth talking about OVER his dope records and joints he been rocking as he continue to make music – while the other stuff – takes center stage.

AS A MAN – I believe it is important to focus on HIS MUSIC and SUPPORT HIS MUSIC over his persona and antics that worry me – not as a punk – but someone who really enjoys his music and wants to see him make it to the top – not – to a prison cell or grave.

Social media era has made information accessible to a lot of people – and – that is good – for the masses but bad for the way that a lot of people – mishandle that information when it comes to the application of solid business practices.

WHILE HIP HOP / RAP is ripe with bad guy personas – understanding the stuff that comes with certain acts – is a MUST and if you cannot – control the way that the people who work with you – conduct themselves while working – you put yourself at risk <~ regardless of how hot a act is.

SEE TRAVIS SCOTT – and the fact that so many people got hurt – and now – so many people will be facing lawsuits and other types of things for the things that they are LIABLE for.

YOU SEE – the specifics of what happened at a event – do not matter – what matters is – how to the lack of control – contribute to the situation that happened. This takes a lot of ACCOUNTABILITY – which is something MOST low level entertainment professionals and CLUB OWNERS – do not understand.

While AlBee is a rapper – he is also – a professional act and while we want to engage with a professional act – on a personal level – we must remember a few things.

1. His safety – is a must <~ that includes things he may do to – put his safety at risk and NO that does not include his social media antics or personal traits. CONDUCT matters and the way things go sometimes it’s hard to understand how to control those things without making things bigger than they are.
2. Safety of the people who WORK around Albee – if the people who are working around Albee are not kept safe for ANY REASON – that is a major – problem and MUST BE ADDRESSED. Because working with Albee should nto be a death sentence.
3. The VENUE – MUST BE SECURE and CONTROLLED to ensure that nobody gets hurt while they are in the building – and – no property gets damaged. MOST Bartenders/shot girls/promo models don’t make enough money to justify putting themselves in harms way by working with a venue that does not have the ability to control situations in regard to hosting events.
4. The staff working the event MUST BE AWARE and on point <~ this is WHY customer service is SO CRITICAL – if you are not – in a place where you can walk up to EVERYONE who shows up – and – enforce the boundaries that exist when bringing a person like AlBee to a show – including – people who come with him to make up the image that is Albee – you need to slow down or re-think what you are doing.
5. COMMUNICATION IS A MUST to keep everyone safe <~ there is no profit that is worth – the safety of ANYONE in a situation that is for ENTERTAINMENT and BUSINESS reasons. SO BE READY TO LISTEN – ACCEPT THE REALITY that you won’t always get YOUR WAY – and – LEARN HOW TO SAY, “No” or “I’m not comfortable with that” – because people think they can force things on you – and that – is not – good business.

IN closing – I hope Albee reads this – I def pray for you and your success. I def think – you have the smarts and talent – to go far – if you choose to make the moves you need to make so more people like me – would be willing to invest in situations that include YOUR PARTICIPATION. #HipHop #Rap
