DUTCH SCHULTZ RETIRES FROM THE LOCAL SCENE

“While working with underground hip hop artist has been a passion of mine for some time – I am making the decision to step back from local hip hop artist unless it is something to do with DIGITAL SUPPORT”

WHILE LOCAL ARTIST are required to reach out to Dutch for PROFESSIONAL SERVICES that are backed by his personal and professional reputation it is less and less likely that Dutch will return to local showcase or social media platforms to interact and network with the local scene.

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know and Dutch has determined since it seems everyone KNOWS everything, he is not needed.

While he has made the effort to keep it as honest as possible with potential partners and artist alike, there are too many petty issues that are making it less profitable and MORE of a inconvenience to participate in the local market.

“I didn’t get into this to make a social media career and most of the artist in the local market are not trying to pay for services I provide but they expect the benefits of the work I do. I don’t charge anyone who does not qualify for specific services but they refuse to work to earn a spot so we can mutually benefit from their participation in a situation. FOR YEARS I carried a lot of local artist publicly while they undermined everything I worked for.”

Working with the local artist turned into working for the local artist who didn’t understand why Dutch did not include them in certain situations when he was making deals.

All the promotion and all the leg work to build a reputation with the local promoters as someone who paid the fees – did the shows and – supported the event as a positive influence earned Dutch and his family a personal relationship with a lot of CTs industry elites.

Artist who performed in the scene for a long time and knew the promoters thought that Dutch would have to do side deals or sneaky tactics to manipulate the same offers they were given – minus a few dollars because Dutch brings value to everything he does.

Local artist would compare their music and desire to get exposure with the value he brought to a situation working hours a day promoting the artist while they did not promote themselves or the work he did on their behalf.

That’s when Dutch decided to coordinate his own events because he noticed artist would prefer to participate in local party events – vs. a real professional showcase setting designed to help artist with all aspects of building a legit buzz.

“Who am I to tell anyone anything.” Dutch tells us as he unveils his plans to offer the communities he worked in promoting local hip hop artist opportunities to own buildings.

While he is stepping back from the local hip hop scene – he will be living and working all over Connecticut with different entities from local to state politics as well as industry contacts and labels in both Real Estate and Music.

The local scene assumed that I was a joke, and I appreciate all that because it makes this decision a lot easier.

I don’t have to interact with anyone on a professional level – I can say something nice about there music and send them info about School of Rap – no long winded talks and no risk to my mental health investing my heart and soul in people who end up having a resentment for doing the work they didn’t do for themselves.

My thing is everyone wants to be independent until you ask them to make a graphic or – pay for a boost in promotion or anything to help contribute to what I’m doing. They treat me like they can show up and that’s enough – when I have well known acts who pay me for a lot less – and – for a lot more progress promotionally and – financially.

80 – 20 Rule as Dutch learned from his good friend and business partner Thomas Kopchik of Revoulution Properties LLC.

So while Dutch is stepping back – don’t worry – you can still find him by reaching out to his partner in music business!!!

Revolution PROPERTIES Owner THOMAS KOPCHICK is BETTING ON HARTFORD

Thomas Kopchick has been working hard in the Connecticut real estate industry for some time. HIS mogul mentality has landed him many important credits but, as a regular joe he understands the hard reality of “working your way to the top.”

Never afraid to take the lead on a situation, Thomas has made a serious commitment to do whatever it takes to help Dutch Schultz of Strictly Bidness Management and Lexus to provide these wonderful opportunities to HARTFORD RESIDENTS along with residents of every city / town in Connecticut.

“Just a little bit of time and effort and we can be the change that a lot of communities need and if we are successful our goal is to create a nation full of investors who want to work to better their communities” Thomas said.

These are the kind of ideas that make investing with REVOLUTION PROPERTIES LLC a smart move for any investor looking to make money in real estate while investing in communities they already live in.

While Thomas is never afraid to take credit for a good idea, his leadership is strong enough to give credit to his Hartford Property Management Team – which includes the DYNAMIC HIP HOP POWER COUPLE straight out of NEW BRITAIN CONNECTICUT – STRICTLY BIDNESS MANAGEMENT.

“These guys are great and they really get the job done with minimal effort. I know I’m good at what I do and these guys have shown that they are able to keep up which is why I am open to new ideas concerning real estate investments from their side of the office.”

While Thomas is happy to work with Dutch and Lexus as they implement this program, he wants to point out that while the promotion is going to be done on a ground level, the services are no different then any other real estate company across the country.

“We have people who can work with the renters and determine who qualifies and who does not, the ones who qualify will be given a lot of support from real estate professionals with a proven track record in purchasing buildings and getting them up to speed with where they need to be.”

This is a great situation because there are a lot of options when it comes to what buildings are available for purchase and just as many real estate professionals to work with so if a investor is comfortable working with a real estate agent they know, Thomas is happy to connect and help make everything as easy as possible for all parties.

Revolution Properties is a licensed and insured real estate company backed by one of Connecticut’s most trusted brokers. When asked why this program is something he is interested in being a part of: “We are about to change lives”

USING HIP HOP TO TURN HARTFORD RENTERS INTO BUILDING OWNERS – SO THEY CAN OWN THE COMMUNITIES THEY LIVE IN

THIS IS DUTCH SCHULTZ OF STRICTLY BIDNESS AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED ME IN THE HARTFORD AND NEW HAVEN AREA CONCERNING THE HIP HOP AND RAP GAME.

I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER YOU A SIMPLE WAY – TO MAKE SOME SERIOUS CASH INVESTING IN YOUR COMMUNITIES <~

HOW DO I DO IT?

WELP when you are in a certain position and work with licensed professionals who appreciate the work YOU DO WITH THEM – it’s kind of easy.

As a SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER – I am in a VERY unique position where I can work with LOCAL community leaders to HELP – RENTERS WHO QUALIFY participate in this program at NO PERSONAL RISK <~ since everything would be handled 100% by licensed professionals who are obligated to do work by the book according to state and federal laws.

THIS IS NOT PREDATORY LENDING AND WHILE the renters and local rappers don’t respect the reality of what I do for a living – INVESTORS who ALREADY OWN LARGE PORTIONS OF PROPERTY IN HARTFORD COUNTY – NEW HAVEN COUNTY and MORE – do.

What do we need to do – tap in with my partner and he will literally explain how to get involved after you give him some basic contact information.

IF YOU NEED INFORMATION ABOUT RISK CONCERNING OWNING PROPERTY – DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS NOW – WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU DEAL WITH A LICENSED REALTOR WITH MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE SELLING PROPERTIES TO FIRST TIME OWNERS WHO CAN EXPLAIN THE DETAILS and RISK INVOLVED OWNING PROPERTIES IN CONNECTICUT.

REACH OUT TO MY PARTNER – FOLLOW THE STEPS AND LET A LICENSED REALTOR EXPLAIN TO YOU THE RISKS WHILE SHOWING YOU BUILDINGS YOU COULD POTENTIALLY OWN.

WE UNDERSTAND THIS MAY SOUND BRAND NEW TO A LOT OF YOU but – WE WANT TO LET YOU KNOW <~ The cost associated with this program WILL BE IN YOUR BUDGET OR WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO MOVE FORWARD.

IT’S CALLED BUSINESS ETHICS <~ AND – WE DO NOT WANT TO HURT ANYONE FROM GAINING THE ABILITY TO OWN PROPERTY IN THE FUTURE BY FORCING THEM INTO A SITUATION THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO HANDLE.

What is there to LOSE by asking questions and taking the steps to apply in a reasonable way – where you can get all the answers you NEED from licensed professionals WHO ARE BOUND BY STATE AND FEDERAL LAW.

TEST THE WATERS AND FIND OUT WHAT IT’S LIKE SHOPPING FOR A BUILDING OR HOME <~ IF THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO.

YOU CAN BRING YOUR LAWYER and REVIEW ALL CONTRACTS AT YOUR DISCRETION <~ we ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO RUSH INTO THIS – because it is NOT a cash GRAB Situation – We are HELPING RENTERS get involved in PROPERTY OWNERSHIP <~ and working to provide quality investment opportunities for AFFORDABLE rates.

THIS IS OUR WAY OF STEPPING UP TO HELP THE COMMUNITIES WE WORK IN AND PEOPLE WHO RENT FROM US – WE WANT TO HELP OUR TENANTS GET INTO HOME OR PROPERTY OWNERSHIP.

WE HELP OUR CLIENTS MAKE MONEY FOR PROFIT so WHY CAN’T WE HELP A COMMUNITY BECOME MORE STRUCTURED AND ORGANIZED AS TENANTS WORK TO BUILD THEIR PERSONAL WEALTH.

What we promise up front:

  1. You will have a professional and well established property management team working with your community leader to help you fill out the proper paper work to start the process.
  2. ONCE the process to get started is done – we will work to see what kind of loan you would qualify for based on the situation you are involved with.
  3. BASED ON THE LOAN we will start showing you buildings you can visit before deciding if you would like to make a purchase.
  4. We will set up a showing so you can personally visit the property and we can show you – step by step – the things to look for – when considering to purchase property.
  5. ONCE YOU MAKE THE CHOICE TO PURCHASE A BUILDING – we will line everything up – so we can take over the building when it comes to building repairs and TENANT RELATIONS.
  6. Once a month you will get a written report with all the financial and important information in regard to your building. IF THERE IS MONEY TO PAY OUT – YOU WILL GET A PAYMENT – but this isn’t the best part.

OUR GOAL is to work with people who would be interested in flipping the money they invest in the first property to buy the next one after selling the first. WITHIN A 5 YEARS our goal – is to help you own – multiple properties and make a healthy revenue stream you can count on with minimal or no effort.

It’s that simple and everyone who is working hard to stack money needs to understand, it’s as easy as that once you have the ability to connect the right people in the right situation.

THIS IS NOT a scheme – this entire offer is based on the work I do and efforts by my partners TO PROMOTE my offer.

ONE AND DONE – STRICTLY BIDNESS MANAGEMENT will be heading this promotion campaign but this entire process is backed by multiple companies with realtors from all over the region.

THANK YOU

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN CONNECTICUT – For Artist TIRED of the SOCIAL MEDIA DRAMA Scene

Recently I have taken a step back from social media as the work I am doing is picking up – the stress of constant interaction and relationships formed through the digital realm – has made my life a complete nightmare.

Always thinking, always working and always building – I let social media take over the main function of the position I hold which pushed me back – on a personal level.

While work continues to get done and the profit is there – it makes me wonder, what is the point of being on social media when I can use other resources to work since, I have a reputation as a person who can get the job done.

I ALSO HAVE A REPUTATION for being a HOT HEAD and that is all thanks to my presence on social media.

PROBLEMS that would of probably gotten

WELCOME TO CUBA – Path To Redemption as a RAP ICON

While many credible rap acts from the 90s are busy working on their influence on the industry. Holding down powerful positions that control the narrative, when it comes to the history of hip hop on a commercial / industry level, we need to take it back to the BRONX.

When a UNKNOWN Rapper – was introduced to a well known BRONX Native who was busy working on industry moves WHILE making underground and neighborhood stories.

THE MAN – who made this happen – goes by the name – CUBAN LINK. While we all love to focus on the rappers who headed the team known as TERROR SQUAD – we have to pay respect the other rappers who formed this killer team of nasty lyrical ninjas.

AS A KID – in the BRONX our culture revolved around – running the streets and hanging with our pals, doing BRONX things and rapping about stuff for FUN. The rap thing was serious, neighborhood tough guys had bars and held it down – so – as far as the GROUP GO – we can honestly say – they were the elite among many.

Credibility matters and while these titans may have their own personal stories and real relationships that get put in the mix in regard to their musical careers – CUBAN LINK is working hard to establish himself as a stand alone rapper who been spitting and doesn’t plan to stop anytime soon.

Time marches on and the glory days become farther and farther away – CUBAN LINK is looking towards the future and loving life – as – a walking monument to the power of friendship, loyalty and a real connection to the RAP CULTURE.

He is a real artist and takes pride in the fact that he is still busting down raps while he makes connections with underground and indie artist alike.

“This internet shit is new to me but I’m trying to connect with the people” – Cuban Link would say while discussing his plans to tour around the world.

It seems this approach is less about proving himself and more about soaking up the rap life from a more MATURE STAND POINT. Between rap – and other genres – the future gives limitless opportunities as far as where Cuban Link wants to take his art.

“Rapping isn’t all I do, I’m a real artist” Cuba said, as I was doing the fan thing talking about the old days. “I got a lot of ideas and I’m willing to see what is going on in the culture to find my inspiration to get involved.”

As a man I can’t help but relate to that feeling and what better time than now – to connect with artist HUNGRY for opportunities with REAL veterans of the rap game.

We dug deep and I’m proud to say the conversation was so real, I can’t look at him like a client or someone I work with – I’m hoping to build a genuine friendship with him so that I can help him push his music on his terms.

“Mistakes happen and I acknowledge that, I’m hoping to earn the ability to represent my side in a more professional manner so I can reach the people who may not know – about my contribution and work to the legendary acts I knew and called family.” – Cuba would say.

As with any planning, this comes with many issues. Cuba is open minded and doing his work in MIAMI as well as other familiar places, connecting with up and coming DJ’s and other personalities as he goes.

“I’m not Hollywood but at the same time you know I know my value,” Cuba reminds me as we speak about underground and culture he has to remind me that even though he is down to listen – this is still a business.

“Something I never learned as a kid was how to conduct proper business so sometimes I didn’t understand how to go about certain things but lately I’ve been working to find the right people to work with me on my vision.” Cuban said…

From my point of view Cuban Link is NOTHING like what I heard from the blogs/vlogs – interviews and stories I’ve heard from other rap icons who are making music and doing things too.

He is easy to approach and willing to work, he has the experience of spotting talent and – isn’t opposed to working with artist that he would sign IF he decides to start a label.

“I’m not saying what I’m doing – all I’m saying is I’m not being closed minded, I’m just listening right now.” – Cuban Link wouldn’t talk too much about that but I def see the potential in partnering with someone like Cuba.

After cruising the internet and seeing what is going on with other acts and these offers from labels on the internet – I asked Cuba how much he would charge artist and producers to send him music for him to listen to for review.

“I’m not charging to listen to a song, that is crazy.” Cuba said and I agree, although I won’t lie – I’d pay to sit with the guy and listen to my music – again – fan talk.

“I know who I am and I know what my value is but I also see the need for real people who don’t attach fees to everything they do. I’m a make a effort to connect with artist in a way I can build my empire while making myself available to anyone with talent so they can get a shot if they have the talent.” Cuba said.

I don’t see Cuban Link sitting behind a laptop listening to music all day but understand he has a team of loyal people who help contribute to his vision.

“The support has been crazy, a lot of people stepping up and that is the stuff that I am going to reward as we continue to work.” – Cuba explained, “Nobody gets in just to stand around, we all gotta work to make this happen.”

So stay tuned… in addition to dropping NEW MUSIC – Cuba link is working on collabs and other situations with BOTH unknown and INDUSTRY producers alike. The movement will be giant as the UNDERGROUND knows and respects the energy from REAL rappers who are interested in making a dent in 2022.

The difference between todays music scene compared to the scene that Cuba is familiar with – there are no gate keepers or powers that be – that can block anything if you are well connected with the different aspects of the underground.

“We gonna run into leaches and bottom feeders but around them are the hard working artist and people who serious about this music thing, those the people we going to work with” Cuba explains.

He isn’t around to play – he wants to enjoy his life WHILE making progress in the music business. He wants to establish his name and continue to hold down the BRONX as a REAL LEGEND IN HIP HOP.

My Love For Hip Hop and How I Contributed to Hurting The Culture

I know a lot of people like to talk about the GOLDEN ERA OF RAP – but – I’m not talking about A GOLDEN ERA – I’m speaking about MY LIFE – and how Rap Music Contributed to helping me escape from my feelings.

Growing up 80s <~ my style wasn’t based around a HIP HOP culture – I lived a pretty normal life – considering – I was adopted and ended up in a pretty NORMAL community RIGHT OUTSIDE THE BRONX – BUT – NOTHING LIKE THE BRONX.

Fact of the matter – I was different compared to most kids in my town and there was NOTHING I could do to understand certain things. I got bigger and soon learned that if I was going to get anywhere – I had to hurt people.

MY SISTERS FRIEND BOUGHT ME THIS TAPE FOR MY BIRTHDAY – ROCKED THIS TAPE UNTIL IT WAS DONE DONE DONE

The music I chose to listen to – had nothing to do with anything outside the lyrics and the things I could relate to when I was outside – doing things that kids shouldn’t do.

Me and my friends were into street things and we would do a lot of stupid things like – get high / drunk and just bug out all over the place.

TRANSPLANTED MYSELF 15 minutes away to the BRONX and you can see – how things could get hectic fast.

Getting off the train and huffing around FORDHAM ROAD – wasn’t something I can say was abnormal for me. My parents used to take me to the Bronx all the time because my father had a job in the DOPEST BOROUGH <~ #Skurr

the point: I had a real connection with the Bronx that had NOTHING to do with street stuff before I would put myself outside.

ROAMING AROUND with no real direction, music was a major part of daily activity. From the bodegas bumping some dope Puerto Rican joints – to the boom boom boom of the latest hip hop joints – FORDHAM ROAD WAS ALWAYS JUMPING – even if you just stood on a corner you would see HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE shopping – and doing normal stuff.

THE SMELL – of street food mixed with hot summer – city smells was always around but if you looked close you could see the things that most people didn’t pay attention to.

I noticed the shit and moved towards it because I never really moved against people who had purpose. If you were like me and we saw each other – it was on or – it was nothing.

Chasing girls or holding down corners was a normal thing and what came with that wasn’t as cute as everyone would like to make it seem, but – we made it look good so it wasn’t a issue for us but that is so far from the truth.

Tapped in to the era – smoking phillie blunts wasn’t my thing – I enjoyed white owls and vegas – then the Dutch Masters popped out and life was clutch.

I’d be lying if I said my youth wasn’t foggy, I can’t remember too much from those days but I do remember mobbing for nothing – there was no real reason but we was rhyming.

The people you guys call the greats were MY local rap scene. BRONX, QUEENS, BROOKLYN, STATEN ISLAND, and UPTOWN WASHINGTON HEIGHTS were KILLING the game – and – as time marched a long I ended up roaming around these boroughs.

Because I was from a certain part of NEW YORK – there was certain music I just didn’t listen to – you couldn’t pay me to listen to certain artist cause they were not OUR GUYS.

Yeah – you can rock a mic but – no – you can’t rock a show too long or we have to mow you over and take that – however it gotta go cause that’s how it went.

While it’s all fun and games to some – for us – we were playing for keeps.

FOR NOTHING – we were hating on dudes who were doing industry things and we let that spill into the streets – I remember debating about Ems presence in the game – started a whole brawl – dudes got they faces stomped all cause we didn’t want to hear that Pun was our guy while EM was “just as good”

One of my biggest crushes was on the radio and when I tell you – we LOVED ANGIE MARTINEZ – that love was always real.

The love for her was the same love you would give to any kind, beautiful woman who was on the radio working as a real professional WHILE being a part of the culture as a narrator / participant.

WE CLOWNED THE MUSIC sometimes but it was all in good fun – looking back – we def had a dope contribution from her when it comes to her role in #HipHop / #Rap as a culture.

WHEN TUPAC DIED – I didn’t cry – I didn’t get upset – and I didn’t feel it the same way everyone else do now cause we were EAST COAST heads. It was TONY <~ all day.

The rivalry between east and west was a bitter one because it played with our minds. GANGSTER culture was influencing music from the WEST while on the EAST – we were thugs.

NYC has always had GANGS but we called them CREWS or TEAMS – some would use SQUAD – or other names to show a group affiliation.

Tupac was a UNIVERSAL THUG and he literally bounced around as he saw fit – which is something I did too – so after he passed, I started connecting with his music.

There a sense of failure when you realize someone you hate for no reason outside the fact they on the other side – has something to say that you can relate to and appreciate on a real level that most can’t understand.

There is a real pride in knowing you can go outside and navigate the streets in a way where you on the top – and anyone around you – gonna be on the bottom.

When you run into dudes who are like that too – it’s erupts into some serious things that we can’t take back – even while we trying to make progress in our own lives.

There are real artist who did real things trying to get out in a real way but they keep getting caught up – welcome to my life.

You have to understand if you come close to real guys who really were outside doing what people outside – really do – when they got nothing to be outside for – you are going to put yourself at risk of falling into their ignorant ways.

FOR ME – if you come at me a certain way – I am the person who will correct you – if you struggle – I will make sure you can’t struggle – until I decide if / when – you will be put back together. That sounds good when you are young – but – as you get older – you see how pathetic that really was.

Every YOUNG black / brown person – has a story to tell but not every black/brown person – has NOT been involved in the stuff we see outside. There are a lot of good kids around the hip hop movement – unfortunately – I was part of the bad element associated with the culture.

BEFORE GOOGLE and YOUTUBE – you couldn’t learn about Gang Activity or STREET LIFE – without really being outside and even in those cases you could find yourself a few who would fake the funk.

IF YOU WERE REALLY OUTSIDE – you understood the code and for some gangs – it was more of a community thing that brought the family together – but – the street stuff is what broke the family apart. EVEN as a youth who was not from the urban areas I spent a lot of time in – I was blessed to know some real guys / girls – who did they thing in their own way – and – lived or died with the consequences of their actions.

The LOVE for “Real” rappers wasn’t because they were people we followed or looked up to – we literally could relate to the shit they was talking because that shit was happening.

They really reflected the shit we did, selling weed, coke, crack, pills and heroin was normal for most street dudes – so the drug music and thug music WORKED.

50 CENT took that NEW YORK state of mind to the next level when he said FUCK YOU to NEW YORK and went to the WEST to get the support that he needed to jump start the career that came from his ORGANIC take over from a street level.

That was when I decided I was going to start traveling outside of NEW YORK and while I can’t speak on any rappers from other areas – my love for rap was deep rooted in the NEW YORK STATE OF MIND.

My travels took me all over the country FOLLOWING the routes that supply America with it’s very import – SNIFF SNIFF – ayyyoooo <~ skurrr…

As I grew up and chose to RETIRE from the street life with honor – I decided to take my life into the music that was part of my soundtrack. I wanted to contribute to the growth of the culture while guiding people away from the street stuff that killed our community bond.

WHILE I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE – the street life got me acting like a perfect gentlemen I have learned to take a different approach to my contribution to my local scene which is currently in CONNECTICUT.

Like any other region – I had to discover – the rappers out here and connect with the rappers out here – some of whom – have very similar experiences with street things but around they way.

It’s hard to understand that people from different areas – can have the same story – but – at the same time – have completely different mentalities when it comes to HOW THEY THINK they should contribute to the positive growth of the culture.

I believe in UNDERSTANDING – although – sometimes – it’s hard to understand the fire that come from my soul when my tunnel vision turns on.

PUSHING so hard may break the culture apart vs. help bring things together and that is the wonderful part of WORKING on something like – pushing the good parts of the HIP HOP CULTURE – while allowing the bad parts a way to come to the light.

I’m working on my journey back – but in the mean time – I want to HELP the community by SUPPORTING THE MUSIC.

I was NOT a fan of the music – became a fan of the MAN

I specifically want to ADDRESS ACTIVE GANG MEMBERS AND THUGS – I don’t need to know about your street life to support your efforts – we can learn to communicate in a positive manner – and – we can air things out without killing each other over the things that we are ready to die for based on our EGO and PRIDE or – lack of judgement when we JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.

REAL MEN understand what I mean and can understand how we all make mistakes but I want to make it known – the real need to help the real cause old guys like me can’t slip back into the negative stuff – because we got these younger people looking at us like we the adults.

We got a responsibility to explain our history in a way where we explain that the things that we think about – often end with a feeling of regret/pain that we put on our family and friends as they watched us slide down whatever slope we were on.

I don’t blame the RAP MUSIC – I blame myself for ignoring the elders who told us to put our guns down and focus on UNITY vs. all the internal beef we know and love so much.

The fact that we allowed companies to exploit the bad things we were doing to the point that it has impacted so many of us in so many ways is crazy.

It Was ALL A DREAM

The Nation of Islam and many organizations like that – warned us and tried to work with us but we continued to ignore the right while doing wrong.

2022 – the DRILL SCENE is the modern day form of “real hip hop” and like decades before – we are losing ICONS – future ROLE MODELS and potential COMMUNITY LEADERS to gang violence based on – the stupid stuff we believe is worth killing and dying for.

The mental health factor is real, depression from PTSD and other issues – many old school guys and gals are fighting internal battles from their younger days that contribute to the lack of leadership in regard to the organic street culture in hip hop and rap music today.

WHILE business and rap fans turned concert companies, promoters and rappers flood the scene – you have this element that believe that the culture of street hip hop – needs to be defended and taken in blood.

NORMAL business dealings become death traps for some – who were really focused on the music while others were focusing on something else. TAKE – by any means – because this is OUR THING.

YOU DON’T BELONG IN THE CULTURE – translates to – I’M GOING TO ROB YOU OF WHATEVER YOU GOT BASED ON THE FACT YOU ARE IN THE ROOM – OR ON THE SAME BLOCK I’M ON – PERIOD.

So for people who are part of the hip hop culture that never did anything in the street it’s hard to understand why a portion of the community – refuses to “grow up” as they say because most of the stuff that turn into tragedies starts as some petty stuff.

Hardcore lyrics have always been a part of rap – but – we took it to a place where you could get punched in the face or stomped out for the things that you said.

It’s funny because a lot of commercial acts – were street guys who conducted themselves as such – but – it wasn’t in the form of representing such a powerful culture as hip hop.

I can go on for days – but – as far as MY story – I think I summed it up pretty well – as far as how I think when it comes to this rap thing…. while I’d like to say – it’s something I’m going to be able to navigate on my own – I have to trust the people around me to guide me the right way when it comes to how I express myself.

Everyone isn’t out to get me and if misunderstandings happen – there has to be a way to figure it out without getting into verbal or physical altercations. We as people are complicated – mix money, fame and other things – it turns into a nightmare.

WHILE IT’S NOT ALL BAD

WE NEED TO FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT WE NEED TO DO TO CHANGE THE CONCEPT OF WHAT IT MEANS TO BE FROM THE STREET – BECAUSE A LOT OF STREET PEOPLE DO GOOD THINGS FOR HIP HOP…

HAAAAANNNNNNNNN

CONNECTICUT – IS THERE ROOM FOR BLACK / HISPANIC Entertainment Professionals FROM THE STREET?

According to one of the BIGGEST Hip Hop Promoters in CONNECTICUT <~ the answer is NO.

DUTCH SCHULTZ PROUDLY STANDING NEXT TO SOME DOPE HIP HOP ENTERTAINMENT PROFESSIONALS

ONLY IN Connecticut, Can a SENIOR PROPERTY MANAGER <~ who doubles as a LOCAL RAPPER and MENTOR to the local rap scene in CONNECTICUT <~ get accused of “Bullying” a so called professional who has DOMINATED the scene USING his position of POWER to MANIPULATE the local scene into a state of despair.

“blow for blow – these guys are literally – salesmen, but on my side, I get treated like a punk off the street who doesn’t understand the concept of common sense BUSINESS” – Dutch Schultz Explains.

While these guys think that it’s hard – to go on social media and “scout” up and coming talent who are thirsty for opportunities to work with people who seem to know what they are doing when it comes to industry standards – but do they really know the culture of hip hop in CT – AND – do they really know what they are doing?

OR did they corner the market using their ability to navigate societies obstacles many of us face on a daily basis just – living our normal lives.

WITH THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT IN FULL SWING – up and coming BLACK and HISPANIC artist from low income areas – are FORCED to do business with people who uses their title to misrepresent the way that “Business” is done using the local POWER PLAYERS in the entertainment industry to make it seem like – we are the problem.

THE IRONY is the supposed “Solidarity” with – black communities but not so much when it comes to supporting the movements where the community works to create the sound so many culture vultures like to exploit.

“The fact of the matter is, just like any other business or Industry, the power players in Connecticut – who do the Hip Hop Rap stuff, are NOT black or hispanic and use words like “Professional” in demeaning ways that seem to echo other racial slurs.

What makes them more credible? I am self employed – I am self funded with no illegal income or investors/partners – and I have been dominating my market – all the while – the powers that be – act like I’m some piece of crap.

They been using the scene and manipulating stuff because they have the ability to talk to people who won’t be scared of them?” – Dutch Explains, “Like how is that fair? Every single time a person like me tries to make direct connection on a human level with these people, the manipulation stuff happens and they assume – someone like me – doesn’t understand what is going on.

Imagine having someone who never worked a job in their life but have the concept of buying low – selling high – down to a science…. that’s all these guys do.

NEW BRITAIN HEAVY WEIGHT MUGSY BROKE THE INTERNET WITH A VIRAL TRACK DEPICTING A REALISTIC VERSION OF NEW BRITAIN – A REAL P

“I literally – had to work with a company out of NEW JERSEY because of the politics around the CT HIP HOP Scene – which is dominated by so called PROFESSIONALS. The company from Jersey took the time to talk to me because they saw me for the work I did while my local counterpart saw me as competition. Which isn’t bad but – once I started showing my value to the scene – the conversations should of changed IF this person could see past their assumption of who they thought I was.”

Everything came to a head when DUTCH SCHULTZ recently was side swiped by local politics when BOTH promo companies who RAPE THE LOCAL RAP SCENE FOR LOCAL TALENT – decided to crap on the little guy – by booking a up and coming act out of NEW YORK.

(ALL FAIR GAME BUT – is it fair – if you are using the “culture” thing as a selling point?) While the DONALD TRUMP way of doing things may sound great – it doesn’t feel too good when you are on the other side of it.

PLOT TWIST – Dutch Schultz is not some little guy and his influence runs deep in CONNECTICUT when it comes to the HIP HOP SCENE and REAL ESTATE.

“This isn’t a game for me and I’m prepared to make this a big thing which can influence the companies that own properties like The Webster and many more venues throughout the state.” Dutch goes on

“You can own a business, you can run a company – but if we own the building who runs things? Also, what brand wants to be attached to a industry that literally manipulates poor people into believing – buying opening slots to concerts means you have some industry contact – when these guys are just hiring acts for their private events.”

BUT BACK TO THE HIP HOP SCENE

THIS EVENT WAS SPONSORED BY BLACK MEN AND WOMEN WHO LITERALLY PUT TOGETHER A CREDIBLE – EVENT – WITH CREDIBLE TALENT WHO HAVE ACTUAL INDUSTRY CREDITS –
I CALL THAT PRETTY PROFESSIONAL

“We are the people who make acts like that popular on a street level – and we got a artist who literally – is on a industry run – from the streets – with a management team and promo team – from the streets – who we were trying to put on a show with this artist before the BIG PROMOTERS decided to poach the act claiming – they never saw our promotion – but here is the problem, I have records of my communication with BOTH companies stating my intent when it comes to scouting talent – so as a PROFESSIONAL courtesy, I already sent messages to BOTH SIDES about what I was doing.”

WHERE AR THE HIP HOP HEAVY WEIGHTS AND RADIO STATION PERSONALITIES WHEN THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN TO LOCAL PROFESSIONALS WHO LITERALLY – ARE WORKING TO DO IT THE RIGHT WAY AND PLAY THE GAME – AS A PROFESIONAL ?

USING THE ECHO CHAMBERS OF SOCIAL MEDIA – these companies will use their influence to put pressure on me – by claiming – a few simple things but mostly – I’m not professional – which – is a complete sham.

Explaining how this is the life for people like him, you can do the same work that the next man does but if you don’t look or act a certain way – you are seen as a less than and your value is one third of someone because they are worried about losing the ability to make money selling opening slots to local acts.

“You come from a situation where you are paying these guys $1500 – $2000 for a 7 minute slot – and you go home to poverty – while they in your ear talking about, that’s how the business is and gotta earn your way… but they down the road in Farmington on the radio playing big big this – when they not big anything. FIGHTING poverty and building a solid business – I got a dope job as a legit PROPERTY MANAGER backed by the biggest realtors in Connecticut – how can I get respect from those people as a professional – but I got little teenagers working with their trust fund money – telling me – about how the scene works? or HOW BUSINESS WORKS?”

AS A MINORITY – working under low level salesmen who don’t understand the simple concept of marketing and promotion when it comes to the SCENE in CONNECTICUT – is SHAMEFUL. They also don’t know the difference between a low level a salesmen and a real executive WHO MAY NOT PUT THAT OUT THERE – so they talk like there is no consequence.

WITH LITTLE EFFORT LOCAL PROMOTERS WERE MAKING CREDIBLE INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS WITH FELLOW NEW ENGLAND ENTERTAINMENT BRANDS WHO DEAL WITH THE SAME POLITICS WHEN IT COMES TO DOING BUSINESS IN NEW ENGLAND

“In 1994 I was in the BRONX, how can some dude from CONNECTICUT tell me – he made Connecticut hip hop – when he isn’t the real CONNECTICUT hip hop – I don’t care who he hang out with, I know a lot of dudes who slide to the city to hang, most my guys know dudes from the burbs cause that’s how it work, the rich/cool kids slide to the hood to grab stuff and play cool – then they go home to the burbs talking about how they hang out in Hartford/Waterbury – whatever – meanwhile they so called friends still stuck in the hood. GOOD STUFF BUT I’M NOT A CULTURE VULTURE PEOPLE”

That’s Connecticut – so as a black / hispanic PROFESSIONAL in the hip hop game of CONNECTICUT <~

You can have MORE CREDENTIALS and CREDIBILITY with the HIP HOP COMMUNITIES ACROSS CONNECTICUT <~ and get accused of being “unprofessional” or “not know how things work in CONNECTICUT” by some cornball with a basic skill set to pick up a phone and ask – HOW MUCH <~ OR get a call because they are listed as a PROMOTER in a SMALL MARKET <~ #Shocker – how hard is that?

You can have MORE of a PROFESSIONAL RESUME <~ and be told – “You don’t understand business” because YOU weren’t allowed to be seen as a equal when it comes to actual “Work” and “Business ethics” – based on what factors – I still have YET to hear anything valid outside of “Who are you” “Nobody knows what your doing” – but for some reason anything I toss up in the air becomes something the big dogs are interested in.

Hosting NETWORKING EVENTS Local Entertainers and Entertainment Professionals ALIKE – POOLED their RESOURCES to make a SOLID PRESENTATION OF WHAT CT HIP HOP LOOKS LIKE

SO IN THE HIP HOP “industry” of Connecticut – my professional credits DO NOT COUNT. I can be put in the same class as a person who has LITTLE TO NO Sales experience or WORK experience when I have over 20 years professional sales experience ranging from work I did on WALL ST to the CONGRESS OF RACIAL EQUALITY – how does this not count as a professional resume?

I manage a portfolio of substantial value – every day – I do this kind of work for my clients BUT HERE IS THE KICKER – I have property managers – who work under me – and – my office runs just fine – I worked with LICENSED professionals who can’t do bad business OR THEY CAN LOSE THEIR LICENSE. MEANING we are bound by STATE AND FEDERAL LAW.

UNLIKE The CONNECTICUT MUSIC SCENE where there is little to NO REGULATION and – reputations are built around gossip – toxic masculine bravado and intimidation tactics that never translate to a descent salary.

HOW YOU SCARED OF A MINORITY – when you do shady business, get caught and they want to address it? DON’T YOU HAVE A WAY TO DISCUSS QUESTIONABLE STUFF WITHOUT MAKING IT SEEM LIKE A ASSAULT?

HOW YOU SCARED OF A MINORITY – who doesn’t need to work with your corny booking agents and “plugs” to make noise? I ADAPTED TO THE MARKET.

HOW YOU GOING TO SAY WE DOING SOCIAL MEDIA STUFF – when you do social media stuff and think your online presence dictate WHO THE BIG DOG IS and who isn’t? WE HAVE MADE PLENTY OF EFFORTS TO DO WHAT WE DO IN CONJUNCTION WITH WHAT YOU DO – BUT – we aren’t employees.

THIS IS THE MOST POPULAR URBAN ARTIST OUT OF CONNECTICUT – SHE – ALONG WITH MANY OTHER YOUNG ARTIST FROM HARTFORD AND NEW HAVEN PUT THE CULTURE ON FRONT STREET – WITH THEIR DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF A POPULAR DANCE DEEP ROOTED IN THE COMMUNITIES THAT OFTEN GET IGNORED BY EVERYONE – EVERY DAY. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT REAL CONNECTICUT YOUTH CULTURE – THIS ARTIST ALONG WITH HER PALS PUT CT YOUTH – ON THE NATIONAL RADAR – JUST BY BEING THEMSELVES – WITH NO REAL BACKING UNTIL THEY GOT THE ATTENTION THEY RIGHTFULLY EARNED…. #RealTalk

WHY DO THE SO CALLED INDUSTRY PROMOTERS CONDUCT BUSINESS using social media / burner phones – NO professional email or receipts for these cash transactions with LOCAL ARTIST ALL THE TIME <~ Because Professionals PAY TAXES.

LLC’s and DBA’S have bank accounts and you should be able to write out receipts for these transactions so the poor artist who “invest” with you can recoup the money they spend with you when they do their taxes, but – is that too much for a low life to mention?

THESE GUYS – use terms <~ that are offensive when referring to the local rappers out here and they look at street culture as BENEATH THEM – but – they love the music and they love claiming they know the industry acts they BOOK and PROMOTE over CONNECTICUT artist who are pulling in crowds – while building their buzz on a national level – without the help of the gate keepers.

LEGENDARY HIP HOP PIONEER PHIL BLOUNT OUT OF NEW HAVEN

As one of the local entertainers I look up to and value – the fact he is NOT involved in the local industry stuff – is INSANE – as a BLACK MAN – who owns his OWN BUSINESS and OPERATES as a REAL STREET MUSIC PROFESSIONAL <~ He puts into practice everything he has learned performing throughout the country as a underground MC – this man RIGHT HERE is a TRUE DEPICITION of what CONNECTICUT HIP HOP LOOKS LIKE.

Every black and hispanic artist who wants to do something has to deal with the current “Powerful” people in CT – who see me and know – I know – the truth and I have the money, grit and professional backing to break it down how it really need to be broken down.

CULTURE MATTERS

Real CT Hip Hop existed LONG BEFORE I came along – and as a true representative of the CULTURE – I love to highlight the efforts of those who came before me. WHILE I MAY NOT KNOW people personally – the fact is – there are REAL underground rappers who operate as REAL PROFESSIONAL and ORGANIZE REAL functions that are not just – cash grabs. They are situations that require effort and real thought when things get put into place. People who actually care about putting on a good show – making whatever money they work for – and going home to do it all again another day.

Another thing – the local radio station has NO CREDIBILITY when it comes to the people they bring on their show to represent themselves as SO CALLED industry professionals <~ because of the whole – pay for play thing that circulates around that station.

These employees go around using their social media to garner some SIDE BUSINESS <~ from the local scene because WHO WOULDN’T want to play close to a radio station personality for promotional purposes?

That’s all good – but – once these clowns start insulting locals and going on air with local police – claiming they are going to have you arrested – because of social media banter – it’s clear – that the ILLUSION of POWER is so seductive that ANYONE WHO GETS CLOSE TO SOMETHING BIG – use it to beat down the people who push the hip hop culture in CONNECTICUT.

“I tested it on many levels, I did the work as a real professional and paid crazy fees to be around these guys till I noticed the reality. My normal gig I recognized that the “Big Dogs” have investors and partners and they all have these different entities backing them up – I’m self made – just a local act to them but I have a team too and I was able to make noise in spite of them.”

Dutch Schultz explains how he has to hire “white people” to do things on his behalf.

That is the only way he can have a easy transaction with the local “Big dogs” and that is the way he has been able to participate in a lot of local situations at higher levels.

I take anyone who looks the part of a “rich kid” and tell them what to say and these dudes eat it up. It’s funny because I’ve tested this on a lot of levels.

“If you want to live in Connecticut as a local act – make a fake IG – pay for followers – and then hire some kid who looks like they won’t rob you to do the “business” I promise, you will make it BIG and the people who claim to run things will assume they can manipulate the narrative using the same tactics a KAREN would use if you were supporting your kid selling water on the street.”

“Mr I Make the CT HIP HOP SCENE” will accept you as a professional before they respect some low life – up and coming rapper – out of New Britain CONNECTICUT” – We manage properties in New Britain and have a lovely relationship with the city as well – a tad ironic.

BANGA BANDANAZ A talented act out of HARTFORD CONNECTICUT he has been doing NUMBERS For YEARS – yet – the local promoters who claim industry ties – do not give this artist the time of day – and that – is a shame. WHILE THEY MAY BE TOO SCARED TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT – the reality of what it means when you earn the reputation of a CREDIBLE rap artist from HARTFORD.

While this seems to be a very personal attack on Dutch Schultz he is making it very clear that he is aware of the legal implications of what he is saying, but – after so many years operating as a professional – he sees NO JUSTIFICATION as to why – they will not publicly acknowledge his contribution to the HIP HOP SCENE. With his legal team on stand by – Dutch has the resources and connections to make this a public conversation which he hopes will echo through the rest of the country.

BEFORE THE DAYS OF SOCIAL MEDIA – GRASS ROOTS looked a lot different and while we all understand that everyone can’t just hand out opportunities – BANGA BANDANA has a lengthy resume – any smart / capable promoter can see – that he is the definition of a DRAW but – they are scared to look close. WE WANT TO KNOW WHY?

I am a customer of both entities and I have a ton of conversations with industry and local acts who can highlight the icky feeling working with people who don’t respect the culture, which I think makes a interesting story.

RIGHT IS RIGHT

“I’m told they respect me on the phone but they don’t respect “my people” – They don’t respect my work <~ and they don’t respect me as a man. So when they claim respect – I see things different. There are a lot of men who look – talk and act like I do – who get left out and end up in prison or jail because they were pushed into a corner – forced to endure the bs politics around so called PROFESSIONALS.”

THE HOODS RECORDING SPOT FOR YEARS – TWIST DOWNS HAS CREDITS WITH HIP HOP HEAVY WEIGHTS TO LOCAL BAD GUYS TURNED RAP ARTIST – HOME STUDIO TO BIG BOARDS – HE HAS EVOLVED AS HIS STORY DEPICTS REALITY.

WORKING HARD TO BE THE MAN WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE ROUND THE WAY.

These out of towners who come to the city love Exploiting poor hip hop artist for gain – all while claiming to run the scene – which is is comical at best. They take money from people who they know – can’t afford – to pay these fees and they don’t help – to generate any type of buzz – because the reality is – you make more money – keeping artist down.

ARTIST WHO WORK and DESERVE THAT RESPECT <~ MINUS THE “this is how business” goes talk because we do conduct business – even at our “lower” level … wow.

Dutch Schultz – is out to BREAK THE MONOPOLY and wants to encourage every young rapper out there – YOU ARE PROFESSIONAL – YOU ARE WANTED – and YOU CAN WORK – FOR FREE <~ there are no strings. COME TO CONNECTICUT – SUPPORT THE REAL ARTIST WHO ARE BUILDING MOVEMENTS TOGETHER SO THEY CAN PUT THE MONEY TOGETHER TO AFFORD THESE CRAZY – FEES – that these snake oil salesmen slap on <~ to their events.

PROFIT IN BUSINESS IS GOOD – but when you taking money from the communities that are suffering from all the social and economical issues that urban communities face in CT – it’s crazy to think you can’t WORK YOUR WAY to the top <~ and get some form of appreciation from the “better half” – who claim to wave the “CULTURE” flag.

They just like to punch down, and if you go to college – as a minority – you understand once you get into the work place. The word professional gets pushed into your brain as a way to keep you from expressing yourself – as a person.

SIMPLY PUT – If I can’t work in CONNECTICUT – because I’m not a PROFESSIONAL – then who can ? What dictates being professional in the hip hop scene ? FOLLOWING –

the so called Ruler?

WE OUT TO BREAK THE MONOPOLY

#Nope

This article is dedicated to the MEMORY of GANSGTERLICOUS and RYAN DOWLING – TWO UP AND COMING HIP HOP ACTS WHO TRAGICALLY WERE MURDERED WHILE MAKING EFFORTS TO MAKE IT BIG – AS – CONNECTICUT ARTIST AND ENTERTAINMENT PROFESSIONALS.

WE DO THIS FOR THE CULTURE – THIS FOR HIS FATHER REAL SPIT
RYAN DOWLINGS FRIENDS DESERVE TO KNOW – HE MADE HIS MARK – AND – HE DESERVED HIS RESPECT WHEN HE WAS HERE – LIFE IS SHORT AND WE FORGET THAT – SOMETIMES WE FORGET TO PUT OUR OWN FEELINGS ASIDE WHEN WE DO THINGS – AND – RYAN WAS ONE WHO WAS DOWN TO FACE THE CHALLENGES IN A WAY THAT WORKED FOR HIM… Can’t be mad at that… #RIP

You have to question – HOW CAN YOU BE SO CONNECTED TO THE CULTURE – when you knowingly <~ take money from kids who are risking their lives – to live up to the standards that you put on a state – that isn’t even connected to the industry.

Promoters in Connecticut have made it seem like they are connected to industry vets because they can call a booking agent – and hire a act. VERY SAD indeed.

NEW ENGLANDS TOP ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR UP AND COMING ARTIST

WHERE to start when you decide to take your MUSIC CAREER TO THE NEXT LEVEL? With so many snake oil salesmen and DIY tutorials – it’s hard to understand the different things that go into making a successful artist navigate this business.

ARTIST WHO QUALIFY WILL GET OPPORTUNITIES TO ROCK BIG SHOWS

SCHOOL OF RAP IS HERE – to make life a little easier for the INDEPENDENT artist trying to get their foot in the door as a viable act.

WHAT IS SCHOOL OF RAP – it’s the birth place of many up and coming acts out of #Connecticut RIGHT NOW.

“I noticed my influence on the Connecticut rap scene when I started doing showcases designed to help artist collect the things most rappers need but don’t have when it comes to promoting themselves in a professional manner” – Dutch Schultz the founder and lead organizer for the School of Rap Showcase Series.

The showcase isn’t the main event, the showcase is a monthly – in person – opportunity for the artist to see if they have what it takes to sell tickets to a show they are performing at.

“It’s a difficult thing to do and a lot goes into promoting a show/artist and other things,” Dutch explained, “I tried the networking thing with other movements, and they all did the same thing, came to my show, watched, and duplicated what they saw on their own.”

Dutch made it clear, his showcases were meant to HELP ARTIST get to the point where they could do things on their own vs. creating alternative movements that acted as competition to the events that Dutch put together.

“First bars, then clubs and now I found a spot that is out of the way so I can do my work and provide real opportunities for serious artist.”

What do artist learn by participating in school of rap:

  1. The basics when it comes to filling out and filing paperwork so they can protect their work and collect royalty payments.
  2. Solid – consistent promotion and support with marketing material, blog write ups and free spins on internet radio stations connected to Strictly Bidness Management network.
  3. Referrals to open mics and showcases throughout the region so artist can mix up the places they perform at for more experience and opportunities to connect with other artist and professionals throughout the state.
  4. REAL WORLD experience and knowledge when it comes to identifying credible promoters / professionals who can help them create content that will actually benefit their music career.
  5. Artist who make it through the first few months of development will start to get opportunities provided by Strictly Bidness and our affiliates / vendors.

This is a straight shot, small to big stage – and all the artist who participate in school of rap <~ will get the same access to the stuff that I’m involved in – if they do the work – and their music is marketable.

This is where artist will be expected to show up for rehearsals – in person radio interviews and more… this is NOT a showcase series and NOT for artist who think they are READY for the next step just because they have some following etc.

SERIOUS entertainers are welcome to reach out to LIZ or JENNIFER on IG to register for the next SCHOOL OF RAP SESSION.
