Where did the name of this song come from? I Have a Music video up. Called “After they say”. I named it after a Common song..Off the album Be. The song is titled ( They say)

How long does it take for you to write a song and how long did this one take you write? It takes me no more than 4 days max to write a song. “After They say” is a song I made.. It took me 2 days to make it.

What is your favorite part of this song? Why? Well I place instrumental’s together in this song..The producers didn’t make it this way.. I made it fit.. On my own.This is my favorite  part because I’m the originator of placing beats together like this..Been doing since 2013. I got my name songs from  the state Maryland. Some people out in Prince George’s County kept calling me Songs. I just put my initials in front of Songs. Becoming CB-Songs.

When people listen to this song, what do you want them to take away as far as message? I want them to hear my crafted  songs vs The music industry bad copies of how I put my song together. aka switching beats

Do you think this song represents who you are as an artist? Yes. I put a lot of time into writing and making good songs.

What is your artist name? My artist name is Q The Key or some people just call me Q.

What kind of music do you make? The kind of music I make is Hip Hop/Rap music. My process includes me recording from my home studio either listening to beats online or making a beat with my main producer in house. I have a main engineeer that I send my music to get it mixed and mastered. My influences include OutKast, UGK and Tupac. I want the listeners to take the approach of making the next move in their lives from my lyrics and production listening to my music instead of just sitting around without gaining experience. Getting to the next step is something everyone can relate to.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I am 29 years old. I started creating music in the year 2002.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? My goals when it comes to my music career is to bring a lively impact to the culture while having fun with what I’m doing before and after the process of recording and promoting my music content. What kind of music do you make? I make screamo trap, Rap and alternative punk rock music. I make for people who have a hard time expressing their feelings , im the voice of the voiceless . My music comes from past and present experiences with life . I prefer to be different , because I don’t want to follow the same mases . I want to stand out and be different . What kind of music do you make? My music can range from old school hip hop, melodic hip hop, experimental lofi and alternative to pop and rock music. My influences range from Action Bronson, Chet Faker, Mac Miller, Outkast, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G. etc. I usually produce my music and record in house (at my home studio, friends home studio or the studio I practically work at), everything is done in house from lyrics, recording, mixing mastering and videography

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I started making music as a little kid around 10 years old but never took it seriously until late 2017 or early 2018.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? I would like to make a living off of my music and be able to touch people the way that I’ve been touched by music. Where did the name of this song come from? Purple Waves is the title track from my album.

How long does it take for you to write a song and how long did this one take you write? A song usually takes me about an hour to write. I spend twenty minutes on each verse and ten minutes on the chorus. This song only took twenty minutes.

What is your favorite part of this song? Why? My favorite part of the song is the verses because I really wanted to speak to the ladies who really are going through it.

What is your artist name? My name is R-KNE Pronounced Arcane 

What kind of music do you make? I make mostly hip hop but don’t really let myself stay stuck in a box and always like to experiment with other sounds that I can relate to.
I definitely want to make something that the listener can enjoy after a long hard day and can just unwind, I would also like the listener to take something away from the music and make it a part of themselves I like to think of my music as conscious and thought provoking lyrics I have no problem with mumble rap as this genre is very diverse but tend to lean to a more feel of hip hop that came from the greats expressing there trials and tribulations and going against all odds, I can say NAS, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, OUTKAST, 2PAC , JAY-Z , TRIBE CALLED QUEST and MOBB DEEP Influenced me a lot.

At the age of 12 is when I first started writing rhymes here and there and noticed I really liked it and would spend several hours in my book of rhymes , I noticed times would just fly by and that called my attention , I also liked how powerful a lyric can be , I am currently 27.

What is your artist name? My artist name is DUIN PACE.pronounced (doo-in p-ace)

What kind of music do you make? I make a variety of genres. My main genre is country rap or hick-hop as some call it haha, I also do alot of raw rap, and conscious rap speaking about issues that are currently happening and have happened in and on our planet. To me music is supposed to tell a story and let the listeners feel a connection to that story in their own way. When I write my lyrics I keep the listeners/fans in mind so they can connect or be enlightened to the stories and reality that is happening around us and/or the trials and tribulations that i have been through personally. I would like the fans and listeners to be able to take those experiences I write about and be able to connect to them in their own way and apply that to their own path in life and realize that no matter what happens, life does get better and there is always someone you can turn to if in need of help. What are your goals when it comes to your music career? I definitely take this seriously as an artist should, I plan to push my music to the world and help bring people together. I am looking to do more shows, tours and festivals this year and only grow from there, I also have my first line of merch available that debuted this year and tons more designs in the works. I also plan on releasing multiple singles and albums by the end of 2020. I have opened for Struggle Jennings and I plan on doing so on many more occasions and as soon as the opportunities present themselves I plan on playing for Upchurch and many more big named artists around the world.

I’m just a simple man that was brought up in the country and I hold strong to those values where we look after one another and help each other when in need. Where did the name of this song come from? I came up with the name to this song after repeating the song over and over and I felt since it was in the song, just to name it that. Plus I’m talking about a trip, I’m talking about some serious sh*%. And at the time in my life when I made it, that’s exactly what I feel like I was doing. 

How long does it take for you to write a song and how long did this one take you write?I can’t say. Some songs I make really quickly and some I get writer block and it takes weeks, maybe even months to write. I.E this song took me about 2 – 3 weeks. This song started out as one way, then I rewrote it to go another way. And then I just merged the two. And it worked out pretty well. 

What is your favorite part of this song? Why? “Do you hear me speaking/I talk to God/ he must be sleepin/ so I just turned to the devil/just to live backward/I can never settle. How could you leave me bleeding/I bleed for the life I’m leaving/no sleep because I see KREEPS & demons/ come look from my view/ it’s looking really scenic”. If you’re paying attention I’m saying so much in those parts. It’s my favorite because at a lot of times in my life, I have so many questions and I don’t get answers for the bad situations in life, so you just feel like turning to the other side, just to feel better. That’s what turning to the devil means. When you spell devil backwards it spells lived. So I live backwards. “How could you leave me bleeding”? Just how could you leave me, just speaking about people that you love a lot in your life that has left whether it was break up or deaths. So you bleed for the life you leaving; you felt those heartbreaks and hard times. And last but not least, “no sleep because I see KREEPS & demons” I don’t sleep really, because I usually have bad dreams. What is your artist name? We are Mayoba. The origin of the name is very unusual, like our music. It took so long to come to this name and when we decided, well we were not so… sober. However, at a first time we thought that the name was totally invented, then we found out that an African lake is named Mayoba, so we decided to name ourselves Mayoba, hoping that one day we could go together in Africa visiting that lake.

What kind of music do you make? We are a crossover metal band with some hardcore, groove and tribal sound that well fits with our name. We define ourselves as crossover or alternative metal because we have never put a genre in our project. We play what we play not because of a genre, but because we like it. The songs are very different but also in line between each other. This is because we have a lot of influences, different ones for each of us. They’re mostly Gojira, Opeth, Lamb of god, Pantera, Killswitch Engage, Death, Megadeth, Jinjer, Snot, Helmet, Biohazard, Ektomorph, Sepultura, Soulfly. From hardcore and punk to death and thrash metal. Our lyrics and production are harsh but also melodic, angry but sad and dramatic too. Our songs talk about the misery of man existence in every form: rotten society, lack of job, love issues, nature illness, discomfort. We want to scream these things to the world and maybe wake up some poor soul.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? We are a band of four split into two generations: two of us are 34 and 36 (singer and drummer), the other two are 21 and 25 (guitarist and bassist). There’s a 10 years age of gap and this may seem strange. However, there’s a strong feeling between us, as musicians and friends. The younger ones have fresher ideas, while the older have more experience. We complete each other as well. We started to create music together only in fall 2018, but everyone has many experiences as musician.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? The real goal is to have fun making and playing our music. We wish to do that all over the world, traveling and bringing our voice and sound everywhere. This looks like a tough aim because the music market is not so easy these days.
