What is your artist name? Kilevrah Cash
What kind of music do you make? Hip Hop. The kind of music I make is “street conscious art.” Meaning it provides a perspective of life under harsh conditions. Along with it you find some knowledge as to what to not take for granted. The concept came from me admiring certain artists who dabble in that art form as well. Such as Scarface, Lupe Fiasco, Common, & Styles P. I like to give myself time to allow things to happen in life while giving myself time to recollect trials I been through. Once I’m ready to lay something down I go to the studio and light up some good green and just go at it the booth. I always write my songs before I go to the studio.
How old are you and when did you start creating music? I started writing at 9, started recording in a professional studio at 16, and started performing at 20.
What are your goals when it comes to your music career? My goal is to be able to make a living off of it while using my influence and income from it to venture into other businesses. As well as help my homies get on with their dreams and support my family.
What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? That I’m an “average joe” sort of speak. I deal with the same issues that everyone else goes through. Every day it’s a battle between optimism and pessimism. Got to take it one day at a time and hopefully my music can help you through that from me being so transparent. I don’t quit which sets me apart from many others and I want those that follow me to be inspired to do the same.
