Kilevrah Cash

What is your artist name? Kilevrah Cash

What kind of music do you make?  Hip Hop. The kind of music I make is “street conscious art.” Meaning it provides a perspective of life under harsh conditions. Along with it you find some knowledge as to what to not take for granted. The concept came from me admiring certain artists who dabble in that art form as well. Such as Scarface, Lupe Fiasco, Common, & Styles P. I like to give myself time to allow things to happen in life while giving myself time to recollect trials I been through. Once I’m ready to lay something down I go to the studio and light up some good green and just go at it the booth. I always write my songs before I go to the studio.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I started writing at 9, started recording in a professional studio at 16, and started performing at 20.
What are your goals when it comes to your music career?
My goal is to be able to make a living off of it while using my influence and income from it to venture into other businesses. As well as help my homies get on with their dreams and support my family.
What do you want the reader to know about you and your music?
That I’m an “average joe” sort of speak. I deal with the same issues that everyone else goes through. Every day it’s a battle between optimism and pessimism. Got to take it one day at a time and hopefully my music can help you through that from me being so transparent. I don’t quit which sets me apart from many others and I want those that follow me to be inspired to do the same.

So I mean take whatever you want from it the message is in the music 🙏🏽

Tall Tree Hippy

What is your artist name? Tall Tree Hippy

What kind of music do you make?  Hip-Hop and R&B with occasional guitar melodies. I want the fans to know that anything is possible when you put your mind to it, and to have a little faith in yourself. I never thought I would be where I am today performing at shows and actually receiving a following on my music platforms. During my adolescents I listen to a lot of Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Eminem and Snoop Dog. As well as Usher and Bands such as Fall Out Boy and a System Of A Down. As I got older I really got into Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, and J. Cole.  I come from a poor family like many other people, and times have always been hard, so I’m going to create the music that tells my story in the hope that anyone else going through hard times can know they’re not alone! Life’s hard enough, let alone a feeling of thinking you’re the only one going through hard times! I would want the listeners to be able to look back on their own life and to take the good from the bad, and to keep moving forward through the think and the thin.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I was 14 years old when I started writing my first raps. I would continue to keep writing all through high school, but wouldn’t release my first single until after my school days. I was 19 years old when I was hit head on by a car coming home from work. This changed my life after Tall Tree was hospitalized for 2 months, and had a year long recovery after suffering a brain injury as well as breaking my entire face. Once I was able to walk and talk again I made it very relevant what i would do with this second chance I had been given by the grace of god. So I finally released my first single on YouTube in 2016 using GargeBand at the age of 21. Since then Tall Tree Hippy has done much growing, and has changed the whole sound completely!

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? The main goal when it comes to making music is to express how you feel, and to tell what you’ve been through, in the hopes someone else out there can relate. I know that there is many people out there that feel like they are walking through this planet alone and I want them to know that they are not alone. I would love to be able to one day start making enough money with my music alone to pay my cost of living, via streams, shows, and merchandise! I dont want to work for someone else’s dream my entire life, I would like to be my own boss and make my dreams come true!

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? What makes Tall Tree unique is the fact that there is a real message in our music. That Hippy is talking about trials and tribulations that he’s personally gone through. All in my own way that doesn’t compare to other talented musicians. The sound is usually a very chill vibe, but he’s been putting more upbeat tracks out to show the versatility of Tall Tree’s music ability. Everything spoken is real and from the recollections of memories good and bad.

Still Life With Cat

What is your artist name? Still Life With Cat

What kind of music do you make?  We make alternative music with a solid electronic base composed mostly of synth and guitars. But we love also acoustic instruments melt with electric sounds. We are three different persons which work on three different elements of the final product (albums in this case because we love to write albums). Alessandro writes lyrics and give the album’s concept its own direction; Giampiero composes the music and both work together to the making of the songs (structure, mood, first arrangement’s shape). After that comes Lisa who gives the songs their right direction with her unique voice. We are influenced by all our past experiences among music, book, pictures, lives and we want to transfer to the world our vision without any chain about genre, target or whatever.

How old are you and when did you start creating music?Alessandro (47) and Giampiero (53) started writing together and founded Still Life With Cat in 2013. Lisa (24) joined the project in 2015. Our debut album Megadream was finished in 2017: lyrics, music, arrangements and atmospheres have been influenced by artists such as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Chvrches, Bjork, Brian Eno and writers such as Orwell, Saramago, McCarthy. The 10 songs making up the album talk about a dystopian world where humans are dominated by power and fear and look for some answers to their loneliness into a reality inhabited by machines.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? Writing, releasing and being heard.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? We make music only for passion and for people to feel it. We’re working on our second full length album so stay tuned!

Kauzi

What is your artist name? Kauzi

What kind of music do you make?  I make Alternative Rap & Lyrical Hip Hop/Rap. Soon, I will be expanding my music to more genres. One thing you’d want to know when listening to my music is that it will definitely move you. Whether you need your energy raised by raging, or relating to my emotional lyrics. My whole life I’ve been intrigued by music and it’s entertainment. It’s definitely saved me in the most part. Influence wise I’d say artists like XXXTENTACION, J. Cole, Eminem, Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), Rico Nasty, and lastly Kendrick Lamar have definitely made a big impact on where I am with my music right now. Me being an independent artist has it’s pros and cons but I wouldn’t have it any other way. You learn a lot about how you are as a person, and how you’re going to portray your visions/ experiences in your music.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? I’m currently 18, and I started music when I was 14.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career?
I want to bring peace of mind to the younger ones that though life can be very stressful and blinding, don’t ever let it break you to where you forget how special you are. We are all band-aids to this world. I also plan to influence those who feel different or weird about themselves, and make them realize that you can still prosper to your goals in your own creative way.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? I’ve been through very emotional experiences, and I can only express it through what I love doing. It’s therapy to me, and I hope it’ll be for others to.
