What kind of music do you make ? DoomBap (A spin on the hip hop style “BoomBap”, set to fit a horror genre).

I love Horror/sci fi movies and movies in general. Sampling and beatmaking. I make beats inspired by strange movies, shows, even video games. The beats I create are in a style I have created called “DoomBap” (A spin on the hip hop style “BoomBap”, set to fit a horror genre).

How old are you? 33

How old were you when you started creating music? I started with drums in middle school, soon moved into guitar, and turntables in high school (16) when I bought my Technics. This is what opened up all new possibilities for me in terms of learning to mix, scratch, and really create your own sound. Later I decided to go to school for audio engineering and graduated with an Audio Production degree in 2019. Since then I had been helping out some different bands and friends with sound gigs/small tours and creating my own music on the side. I recently had one of my tracks used by an Author friend of mine in a “Book Trailer” for his newest book.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? My goal here really is to get all my tracks ready and up for lease on my website to be used in different media. I plan to do more things within the movie field with sound, foley, and music tracks. That is really where I want to be.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? I love all styles and music so I am inspired by all types. The main inspiration for the DoomBap music I create is usually derived from horror and sci fi sources. I love all art and film, as well as comedy, writing, drawing etc, and just love to be creative. I also create two strange podcasts.
