Kee Valid

What is your artist name? Kee Valid

What kind of music do you make?  Hip Hop/Rap and Reggae. The music I make is inspired by living in the ghetto my whole life, being able to relate to others around the world with my lyrics. I sometimes hum in my head and make lyrics without a beat and try to fit it on a beat for fun and sometimes I listen to beats and freestyle to it.

How old are you and when did you start creating music? 19 years old is when I uploaded my first single. But, I’ve been around music my whole life playing the drums and trumpet. Also, I made a freestyle song when I was 16 years old with one of my old friends for fun. Now that I’ve realized that music is my talent, I decided to take it to the next level by making my own music.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career? I want to go viral with my music and be able to touch those who feel what I feel when listening to my music. I also want to win Grammys and have platinum records all while traveling the world performing for millions of fans around the world. In addition, I want to be signed to a record label that has agreeable terms to help me develop into a greater artist and keep me organized by helping me.

What do you want the reader to know about you and your music? I want the reader to know that I’m from Hartford, Connecticut and I lived in Jamaica for a portion of my life. Also, I want them to know that I did more than just making music in my life. I modeled, auditioned for shows, go to college, and I also worked for every dollar I earned to invest in my music career.

The Goal is to help artist get heard while building my platform. The most difficult part of this is getting the artist to understand - we need them to support the blog for it to serve their needs. #WeDoThis
