Jinfinity

What is your artist name?  My name is Jinfinity.  The “J” is for the fact my real name is Joseph, and “infinity” is because of my versatility in beats and song styles, as well as the fact I’ll be leaving my mark on this world with my music that will live forever.

What kind of music do you make?  I make various different kinds of music, however I consider myself a mixture of rap and alternative. My music can range from chill pads and synths with slow drums all the way to distorted guitars and booming loud in your face 808’s and drums.  I make my music from my heart and mind. Everything I write and sing, scream, and rap about involves my life and the things I’ve encountered or seen through my eyes. All the emotions and thoughts that I speak into my music are raw and unfiltered. My musician influences are Machine Gun Kelly, Post Malone, Bring Me The Horizon, NF, Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, Suicideboys, and Scarlxrd. My musical process varies depending on my mood and availability, occasionally I’ll make a beat then write to it or vice versa, then I’ll record and mix my vocals to my liking. What I want the listener to take from my music is that they’re not alone, as well as it’s okay to be different. What they’re going through is something that I understand or I am personally going through. I Also I want to allow the listener a way to cope with everything going on in their lives like I did.

How old are you and when did you start creating music?  I am currently 19, but I was interested in music at 13. I started writing at 13 and at 17 I started producing my own beats, then at 18 I started recording and I published my first ever song on SoundCloud.

What are your goals when it comes to your music career?   I want to leave behind a legacy and change the world, as well as I hope to save people with my music. I want to become big in the underground scene, collab with the well known artists in my scene, as well as go on tour around the country. What do you want the reader to know about you and your music?  I am only human, therefore everything I create is my way to escape reality and or to show what is happening currently. I won’t ever sugarcoat my topics and I don’t change unless I want to. I make music my way, and I don’t like being compared to anyone. I want to be my own individual and be unique. I hope that I can at least save 1 person’s life, if not everyone who listens to my art built from my own hands and oxygen.
